I’m a Dresden Dolls fan, and wanted to see this show because of Amanda Palmer’s attachment to it. Let me first start off by saying this was an evening as much about Amanda Palmer as it was about Jason Webley and Sxip Shirey – two musician / performers en par with the same level of personality and bravura Ms. Palmer has become notorious for over the past six years. Together, these three performers broke the evening into four parts; Sxip Shirey handled the opening duties and then acted as a master of ceremonies for the second part – which was Evelyn Evelyn’s performance. Then both Jason Webley and Amanda Palmer came out and performed some solo material. The performance lasted about three hours, with a few intermissions. It was a pretty interesting evening of music and theatre.
